DS Flash Equipment > How many official Nintendo Demos exist? Let's start a list..

#45435 - blkdog7 - Fri Jun 10, 2005 5:56 pm

Does anyone know if a definitive list of Official DS demos exists? I'd like to get all of them but I am not sure what it is I am looking for. I am really interested in the Japanese demos, especially Nintendogs.

So, do you know where I can find a list of the available Official DS demos?

Here's what I know so far, please add to this list if you know of any others:

Zelda Preview Trailer
Zelda Gallery
Table Hockey
Meteos
Electroplankton
Submarine Tech Demo (I LOVE THIS ONE!)
Trauma Center
DS Training
Ganbare Goemon
Guru Guru Nagetto
Polarium/Chokan Hitofude

Found at gamestop:

Wario Ware: Touched
Feel the Magic: Demo

That's all I know :-D

#45440 - blkdog7 - Fri Jun 10, 2005 6:27 pm

These aren't demos that can be captured, correct? You can't send a demo via the DS in Wario Ware, can you?

#45502 - Evil_MK - Sat Jun 11, 2005 6:49 am

Correct.

Wario Ware: Touched
Feel the Magic: Demo

The above demos are non-downloadable, that is, they exist in playable cartridge form.

I think there is also bonuses if you got Daigassou or Nintendogs.
bonuses stay in cardridge.

Pac-Pix: Demo (UK Store Demo)

The US has this as well...more than likely I'd guess it's the same demo.

All in "Downloadable onto DS Memory" section are avalible to download with WMB, except where marked.

There is a store demo of "Pok?mon Dash" (without multiplayer etc.).

#46158 - blkdog7 - Mon Jun 20, 2005 11:31 pm

Someone has to capture that fishing game. I am going to Hong Kong in a few weeks, I wonder if it is available there somewhere.

#46170 - JonathanEx - Tue Jun 21, 2005 7:16 am

No, it's only in the Japan PokePark...

#46535 - OrR - Mon Jun 27, 2005 12:01 am

I'm pretty sure there's a Mario 64 store demo...

#46543 - tepples - Mon Jun 27, 2005 4:10 am

I'll take a guess that some of the store demos are byte-identical to the full retail versions, just with a "not for sale" sticker. This was the norm for Super NES and N64, and it is still the norm on GBA SP.

Some of them would be just store demo carts, but some are cut down versions. Wario Ware for example is just Wario's minigames.

Second news post mentions the release of a Famicom Wars E3 Demo. Testing now myself.

Edit: Works well. I don't understand enough Japanese though.

Cheers.
