Has anyone got this adapter working? The compatibility shows this model but I can't get the driver to install. - "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware".

Thanks in advance.

This error message happens most often when you try to use the Ralink WiFiMe driver with a card that does not have a Ralink chipset. Often, a manufacturer will replace a Ralink chipset with another chipset even in a revision to the same model.

linksys speedboster cards do not use the ralink chipset.

The regular WMP54Gs work, but only v4.

Personally, I'd suggest you return the linksys, and order one of these from newegg :)

Refer to http://ralink.rapla.net/ for more listings on which cards have the ralink chipset.

As a random note, I just got one of those Gigabyte cards from Newegg the other day. Works great. Took like five minutes from opening the box to sending signed demos to the DS. Obviously, flashme took a little longer. :)

For those in Canada looking for a place to buy a compatible network card, look no further than futureshop.

It works pretty darned well and worked as soon as I plugged it in and popped the drivers in. No hastles.

I now have that as my "Nintendo DS" "link" and use my USB Linksys Wireless G adaptor for internet. Both work well together.
