I was wondering how easy it is to get the EZFlash III 1 GB to work with DS homebrew software, and also if it means 1 gigabyte of space, or 1 gigabit?
I assume it's gigabyte since it's capitals, but I just want to be sure before I buy it because 1 gigabit is much different than 1 gigabyte.
Thanks.

GBA flash cards are measured in megabits. Camera memory is measured in megabytes. Your 1 Gbit E-Cube is about as big as a SuperCard with a 128 MB CF card.

So those cards are really 128/256 mbits?? Odd. Why are they measured in that fashion?

I don't know why ROM sizes are measured in megabits, but it goes back to the NES days. The "NROM-128" and "NROM-256" boards took a 16 kilobyte or 32 kilobyte program ROM chip respectively.
