DS Flash Equipment > Homebrew without flashme

#49535 - SolidSnake - Sat Jul 30, 2005 11:13 pm

I have a fully working wifi connection with my ds, but i would like to play some homebrew roms. is there a way to play them via wifi without using a flashcart or patching my firmware? i would like to play them like i play the e3 demos. is this possible?

btw, somebody could give me some links to homebrew games and apps? and could show me some kind of faq in using that multiloader for the nintendo DS?

This will be possible one day, when the rsa is worked out, but for now you will have to stick with emulators if you dont want to flash your firmware or use a flashcart

Here is an excellent collection of links to homebrew materials

If you mean darkains loader, isnt it just a case of extracting the files from the archive, copying and nds files you want to include into the directory and executing the build.bat file?

thanks for the quick reply! what should i do so? i have the wmb.exe; so i flash the loader with the roms in my flash cart and what file i broadcast using the wmb so the ds can access the cart?

WiFiMe from FireFlys wireless multiboot download page here.

Put this file as is in the wmb apps data directory and run the wmb app with the command:

wmb -data wifime
