I know it's maybe a really n00b question, but why isn't it possible to send homemade .nds files with WiFiMe by firefly without a GBA-flashcard? I mean, they are not to big to be a 'demo', or do I do something wrong (when the demo starts, it only shows the nintendo logo)

You need to use FlashMe to flash your firmware, then you would be able to send most .nds files under the 4Mb size limit, but to flash it you need to load FlashMe off of a flash cartridge.

So there is no sort of FlashMe available to load wireless? :(

You have to load homebrew stuff with a GBA flashcard because the DS checks for a RSA encryption. Our homebrew files don't have they arn't signed with the nintendo key. Thats why it hangs on the nintendo logo. Nintendo demos can load because they HAVE been signed with the nintendo key.

It might be possible to make a method of booting unsigned code through Wi-Fi that doesn't need a GBA flash card or GBA Movie Player once somebody reverse engineers the full multiplayer boot sequence of Super Mario 64 DS.
EDIT: clarified terminology

Something should be done about the names WifiMe and wireless multiboot.
WifiMe is not what you use to send files. Everybody seems to misunderstand.

I agree. I personally use "WiFiMe" to refer to the pass-through method to load code from the GBA cart, and "wireless multiboot" to refer to loading complete .nds roms over WiFi. It'll be hard (for noobs anyway) to keep this straight because the same wmb.exe program is used for both activities.
