DS Flash Equipment > ?Can make FlashMe recovery with SuperCard?

#57634 - YaW - Mon Oct 17, 2005 2:16 pm

Hi all,

My DS have broke up, I don't know if it's because DarkFader's Brick or something else... When I turn on, the screens get in black and I can't do anything.

I'm triying to use the FlashMe Recovery (A+B+Select+Start) but I don't know how to do this with SuperCard, it is possible? If yes, how?

Thanks :)

If u used Supercard to load the Bricker, your Supercard is also bricked!

In my experience it is not possible with a SuperCard (Because of the SuperCard menu).

Does anything happen when you press SELECT+START+L+R whilst booting the DS?

If so, you need another Flash Cart (NOT SuperCard) with Flashme on it.
If nothing happens read my tutorial on flashing firmware through the parallel port (http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?t=7187)

The SC is working fine, I have tried it on my GBA and works.

have you tried simply holding A+B+X+Y with your supercard?
Just incase...(It will tell you if your firmware is screwed...)

It should be possible to put FlashMe in Supercard firmware (up to 512KB) and boot that. I could add unlocking code to the nds loader thingy. You still would need a second DS though (or flashlinker), but not an ordinary flashcart.

How about adding support for SC into FashMe FW instead? I.e. with certain keys held, don't look for any signatures, just boot from GBA slot.
