DS Flash Equipment > Noflash me.. can i power off at 74% ?

Emm.. i found out that i dont have a screw driver to open the Battery lid.
Can i turn of at 74% or will this brick my ds?
This is before the i sortsircut the SL1.


This is Noflashme and not Flashme...

Well, you could turn it off, since it hasn't overwritten the protected section yet. But you will have to restore the firmware afterwards!!! So make sure you have the means to do that (i.e. a real GBA flashcard or anything else that supports the restore functionality).

Why does unflashing begin at the end (if SL1 has to be shorted after 74%)?

But as natrium42 said: As long as there hasn't been overwritten any of the write-protected space for which you need to short SL1 to write you can use the recovery function.

So the danger of making a brick is as small as possible, isn't it? (if the DS is powered off <75% you can recover it)

Removing flashme?

Mine made it to 74% (without shorting.)

You didn't have to noflashme in order to upgrade to flashme v5... you could have just installed on top.
