DS Flash Equipment > NOTE! Chishm's v2 GBAmp FW isn't compatible with WiFiME.

You should use v1 to install FlashME, since v2 doesn't work with WiFiME in 60% of cases.

*sorry for my grammar mistakes

What are the symptoms of it not working? Mine hangs on the Nintendo header. I just figured it was my DS having new firmware. Could this be the problem?

Probably. Try it out with v1.
Anyway the sympthoms should be two white screens after the Nintendo header.

What is the best way to cleanly get back to v1? Can someone post a proceedure?

What are the symptoms of WifiMe on a new DS? Some sort of error message?

Well, afaik, two white screens. When did you buy yours, CG?

I got it straight from Nintendo. It's fairly new, but it was shipped to me during the "gray period" of firmware versions.

Well I'll be damned, you're right. I'll have to look into this one.

While your at it, could you double check the code that makes it start the _BOOT_MP.NDS file? I wish I knew why mine and winhax ds is just blipping past that file.

As far as I know, if the Mario loading screen is displayed when you try WifiMe then you have a new firmware DS and need a PassMe 2. I don't have a new DS to confirm that.

Ok, I updated it. It seems to be due to the fact that I was clearing main RAM before moving the ARM9 wait function to the NDS header. This was fine on FlashMe, since the ARM9 function was already in the header. However, that didn't seem to be the case with WifiMe.

I haven't looked to far into why it isn't working with the recovery code in FlashMe. Try this version and tell me how it goes.

Just loaded it. It still screws up the screens for me and will not load _BOOT_MP.NDS. At least I can confirm it's not brickware.

I just bought a used DS to use while I'm trying to fix my first one and stuck the GBAMP in and the screens were fine. Apparently that bug only exists on a MK bricked DS.
