Hey just wondering if my DS has the old firmware or not, I heard that you can tell if it is by the serial numbers on the back.
The serial number of my DS is NAF 1004***3.

Unfortunatley you can't tell from the serial number.
There isn't an easy way to tell (unless you can already run homebrew, but then you have to know the version).

Better not to post your serial number, man... someone might register your DS on Nintendo.com and work their way to getting Nintendo Power's 3-for-free.

I think he is talking about the fact that he posted his SN in the initial post, for everyone to read.. not dspassme.com
