DS Flash Equipment > Good SD card for M3 SD Use?

#64314 - fun41 - Wed Dec 21, 2005 5:54 am

I was wondering, since I have gotten my M3 SD, I have no SD card to use from >_>... so I was wondering which is the best... or are able to run most things (from what I heard, some homebrew don't work with SD but CF it works).

Basically, I want personal opinions... not the PHWiki Site for M3, as some of the products aren't available over here. (Australia)

you can see here:http://www.gbarl.it/index.php?showtopic=10404

I believe the beginning of that list was taken directly from the M3 wiki Italian translation (The castlevania test was envisaged on the M3 wiki, and the numbers decided by a contributor.)

The Wiki can be found at http://leo.rampen.ca/m3wiki/index.php/M3 - the Compatibility list for SD and CF cards isn't as comprehensive as the one on that forum though - perhaps someone with knowledge of italian could update the wiki with some of those cards.

i' ve got an Panasonic Sd 512; but seems that can work only after e12 update.
can i use it for update o i must buy/get a new card for the update?

Forget everything you read before! This is all fake!

I bought a Sandisk 256MB card today and it is working. After the firmware update my 512MB Toshiba card is working, too. Before the update it was not found by the M3.

DO NOT BUY KINGSTON. My Kingston Elite Pro (most expensive card ever) does not work!

then i can load the update file on my sd memory and update the M3?

Yes, you need a sandisk sd card to update. later you maybe can use your panasonic.

if my card not work with update i'll buy a SanDisk Shoot & Store 32MB because is very cheap(64MB=9.99?!!). With those card can i update?

I tried it with an 30? 256MB Sandisk card and know that 512MB cards do also work. I am not shure if smaller cards are working.

i' put the passkey in Ds slot with Matio 64 Ds(and i tried with NFSU2, also); the M3 with the updgrading file; i get 2 white screen. Is M3 break or the uncompatible card?
