DS Flash Equipment > Checking my DS firmware

#65186 - Kudaku - Sat Dec 31, 2005 3:46 am

Hi all I'm new here and would love to be a part of the DS scene
the question I have is I just got a DS (dec. 30th)
I probably have a new firmware but is there any way to check.
the list on dspassme.com does not have my serial number so i would like to know how to chekc the firmware

my serial number is NU4197**** [2]
Also what does the [2] mean? is that the version number ?
ANY help would be VERY appreciated

If you just got your DS, there's about a 95% chance that you have the new firmware, and will need one of the "2" series of Pass devides to run homebrew and/or install FlashMe.

If you have the right wifi card try wifime.
If you have the old firmware i think it will give you two white screens.
If you have the new firmware you should get a corrupted Mario DS Multiplayer game.

remember: you can't use WifiMe with the new firmware, so don't buy a wifi card for that! Only try it, if you already have a compatible card (or you plan to use wmb after flashing you DS).
