I dug out my old parallel port flash advance linker today and I'm getting problems. I think it is the cable but no sure..
When I run any software(xtremeLink, FlashAdvanceWriter) it finds the hardware and finds the card(flash256M) BUT....
1. it says it's a SPP port and it is not(tried 2 different comp)
2. when I try and write to the card it fails after 2 seconds.
I'm running on win98 for this.
What I want to know if someone can help out is...
1. if the cable is wrong.
2. if the flash card is broken
3. flash linker is broken.
anyone help out?
thx
