SD version at least looks bearable while CF is simply awful.
I want a DS Lite, but gotta save money for Revolution :'<

I don't like DS Lite anyway, when it comes out, and I need to purchase a Nintendo DS, I should probably find a non-lite DS somewhere to purchase.

Wow, I'm not one to make a big deal over things like BRIGHTNESS... but da'im... this photo REALLY shows the difference:

Hmm... if the SuperCard juts out like that, I think the M3's gonna look horrid on the Lite. They'll probably come out with "Lite" versions of the SC and M3 (a la "Play-Yan Micro") for potential future purchasers to consider buying.

Aaah!!!!
Piracy!!
Kill it, kill it!!!
Other than that, good news :)
Those images definietly show how much of a differenc the screen brightness makes.
The microphone in the center still looks a bit iffy, though...

Face it: Without the yarr, you wouldn't be able to afford the 'brew. Case in point: The lack of yarr on the NES is holding the NES homebrew scene back.

man even Supercard SD is sticked out like that, I don't even want to think about my M3 CF...hic..hic..
#73965 - The 9th Sage - Wed Mar 01, 2006 4:32 am
Hmmm...that's pretty good news. :) I guess that means we can run homebrew on it then. Perhaps a FlashMe Lite could come into being eventually too.

There is one in the works. It's the same size as the Supercard SD and Play-Yan:

Of course, I still think that this will be the best if it ever comes out:

I'm getting mixed reviews here.
So is flashme supported for DS Lite or isnt it?
(when is DS Lite arriving to the US market?) maybe by that time, there will be a flashme for it. The pics show the S1 short thing to flash it :P
#74956 - adrian783 - Thu Mar 09, 2006 2:27 am
it is, but if you flash it with the current gen flashme, you will lose the adjustable lighting

I wonder if it would retain whatever setting you had it on when you flashed it...like if you had it on super bright (or whatever) if it'd retain that setting.

The guy who posted the first blog said it retained whatever setting it was on at the time.
