DS Flash Equipment > compact flash 2 in gbamp?

#74686 - quadomatic - Mon Mar 06, 2006 11:57 pm

I know its possible to put a CF type II in your GBAMP, but u have to take a slice of it out. What part do u cut out, and how?

it is very simple lol
just get a sharpe and a ruler

and measure to the right area :P

THEN unscrew the GBAMP to you can remove the RED part
then cut off the red parts that you marked off with the sharpe :P

(yeah i did it, mine isn't that clean but little gapping :D

i can't tell if its faster then flash or not
but i think it is slower :P

Probably is because CF type 2 are often Microdrives (small harddrives) which are much slower than solid-state memory.

Takes more battery power too.
