If you dont want to change the firmware, can you use a passme1 to exacute code on a FW4 system by leaving it pluged in?
(using a GBAMP as the media)

no, you can't. you should buy a passme/passkey/superpas/passme-z 2

Thanks for the reply :) Thanks for the thread too Darkflame
edit--
may i ask what the passme-z is? and does the GBAMP work with all those you listed? (keeping the passme/whatever in the DS all the time still)

Original PassMe does not work with firmware v4, and GBAMP does not work with PassMe2. You need to buy or borrow an M3, SuperCard, or traditional GBA flash card.

so GBAMP in NO way works with it? not even with keeping the passme or passkey or whatever in 24/7? I have no interest in flashing the DS hardware itself

If you don't want to 1. buy an M3 CF, 2. buy a SuperCard CF, or 3. buy a used DS with v1-v3 firmware, then you can still use your GBAMP to run GBA multiboot programs in GBA mode.

tepples ~ I got my home brew working fine (I was the luckly early DS buyers), I was asking on behalf of Dan2552 (who I didn't realize had an account here :p)
Dan2552~ If you cant afford those, these hope with other theoretical methods, your just going to have to be patient.

If you don't want to put your money toward a SuperCard, then put it toward Swimgod's bounty so that we can do some research toward WiFiMe2.
