DS Flash Equipment > Grr cant flash miniSD Supercard

#80804 - RowanDDR - Tue Apr 25, 2006 6:47 pm

MiniSD supercard seems to have the same prob as normal supercard - can't upgrade the BIOS from a 2gig sized card. Grr frustrating, coz the only miniSD card I have is 2gigs. I hope supercard fix this soon!!

Go to Walmart or some such, buy the smallest card you can find, flash it, and return it. Just make sure the store you buy it from doesn't have a "no returns on opened merchandise" policy or something stupid like that.

If he is then it is a known problem that Supercard can't upgrade from 2Gb cards.

Is there similar cases with other brands like with M3 and it's M3 Mini-SD?

I have M3 MiniSD without the 2GB flash card that I ordered... they were out of stock (too popular and cheap I assume). I have considered buying a second card for HB.. 128MB card (cheapest is Kingston and it's 13? ($16.2) including shipping).

Isn't it worth spending like ?5 on a small minisd card and just keep it to one side for future flashes etc?

Last time I checked even 256mb storage cards are pretty cheap now.

5? is about 7?. Here where I live, big bag (300g) of sweets costs about 3?.
If you really can find so cheap Mini SD card then why not spend your candy or cigarette money for it? ;)

Huh, not that I've ever heard. I wonder why the Supercard has this problem?
