DS Flash Equipment > M3+DSlite = Problem

#83914 - Knolli - Fri May 19, 2006 4:07 pm

Hello,
today i've received my M3 Adapter.
But it doesn't work.

Like it's described here -> http://www.dualscene.net/viewpage.php?page_id=41 ,
i've put the File on my MiniSD-Card.
Then i put the M3 with the miniSD-card in it into my DSlite.
But when i select the GBA-Game-Button in the DS-Menu, the screen keeps black after the GBA-Logo.

What is wrong with that thing? =/

Have you tried doing a firmware update of the M3? It's possible it will be able to do that even if it can't start now. That could fix it if it can.

I've tried to put the updagcsd.e19 on my minisd-card...but in this case, the screen keeps black, too =(

I'm sure you've made sure the SD card is fine and firmly inserted into the unit. Don't know if it'd help, I could send you an earlier update...maybe that would work. Don't know if that's even the problem, but it's worth a try.

Thanks, but i think i have to accept that my M3 is broken...i've asked in 5 or 6 forums, and everyone said, that this is the case...shit happens :(

Did you write the game correctly to the SD via the M3 game manager app?

Or try the M3 adapter in a GBA SP with a .gba game if you can so you can test to ensure defective hardware. If it does the same thing, then it is probably defective hardware.

I didn't used the Game Manager yet, because it was not necessary - the M3 even don't boot...
