DS Flash Equipment > NDS + Media Launcher + M3 Lite = Problem

#85172 - nsheikh80 - Sat May 27, 2006 5:06 pm

Hi

I just bought a Max Media Launcher and the slim M3 lite and a 1GB SD card. I have the normal DS, not the Lite.

I am having a problem that when I boot up the DS it comes up with the Max Media Launcher screen but then just goes completely grey after that and nothing happens. I am unable to boot any games from the M3 Lite.

I have copied the DS roms to the SD card in the M3 lite via the software provided by M3. I have also just copied the ROMS directly to the SD card without using the software but nothing seems to be working. I have also tried another SD card but this has not helped. I do not have another GBA cart to test it with.

I would appreciate any help you guys can offer.

I am downloading an Update for the M3 Lite from here: http://www.ndscard.com/Download.htm

I have no idea what this update does or even if its relevant!

I dont know if the M3 needs this or whatever, but try placing an NDS homebrew rom on the root and call it '_BOOT_MP.nds'

For MAX Media products, you may have more luck with naming the file "bootme.nds".

I'm pretty sure that must be another retarded trick made by M3 team forcing people to buy PassKeyII X_X
