I just logged in with Bugmenot to tell you this.

The only game I could get working was Sonic 2 and it was very very buggy (I guess some would call it playable but I personally couldnt)

Im going to keep watching this though.. as it looks really cool.

Registering on a forum isn't too hard :p its just those annoying ones that you have to register to download off, is when you use bugmenot

You register for forum.gbadev.org using retawq in DSLinux and then tell me it's not too hard.

hehe but most people with retawq in DSlinux would have registered already ;)

What about the person who has lurked for a year, possibly posted on other forums and wikis where DSLinux is discussed, and (on a whim) decides to register on forum.gbadev.org. He takes the DS to some random access point, uses retawq, and gets stopped by the CAPTCHA.

What happens if "home" is a computer that runs Lynx, w3m, or Links? What if somebody is on dial-up, and text-based web browsers run ten times faster because they don't download and process banner and Flash advertisements?

My point is the following:
  1. Gbadev.org exists to promote homebrew software development for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS systems.
  2. Gbadev.org administration has configured phpBB to be incompatible with text based web browsers.
  3. Between the time the policy was instituted until a few days ago, the only available Nintendo DS compatible web browser was a text based web browser.
  4. By 2 and 3, gbadev.org administration has configured phpBB to be incompatible with all known DS compatible web browsers.
Hypocrisy?

EDIT: It's not hypocrisy as long as one can use ndsmail to contact an administrator.

Links, in my Linux experience has been fine with logging in etc (it also has a graphical mode if you really want it) - unlike retaqw on my DS

anyhow, the bugmenot user clearly wasn't posting from his DS :p
