It's quite impressive, but the maps don't load quick enough (google's fault) before the plane flys out of the loaded area.

I had trouble finding the london wheel, so i gave up too. But yes it needs to load the images before; and maybe utilize some basic method of prediction based on your recent flight history - such as when you are just flying straight or in a particular direction.

Yes that one is much better, and it also starts by the london eye. If only the plane travelled faster I would take the time to find my workplace. EDIT: but with that new method I can do it, and I've already bombed my uni

Still needs some serious work on the preloading.

this is the best use of google earth images i have ever seen. that includes navigating by them.
