I read up on the diamond cartel again. One of sites mentioned that there are milk, soy and petro cartels as well. Read up milk. Read up on soy, and found some very interesting information.

Especially notable is that soy baby formula causes irreversible damage to infants. Estrogen mimic flood, IIRC. All sorts of problems.
