----edit: message from dutch to english translated
Cant find page
the page which you are looking for is probably deleted, temporary unavailable or the name has been changed

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

try the following:

Control if you have typed the adress correctly

go to the darkfader.net startpage (wich is empty for me) and search for the information which you need.

HTTP-err 404 file not found

Works fine for me as well. Sounds like you are having a DNS issue that can't resolve the name. If you really need to get to it, and can't wait for your DNS issue to be resolved (if your ISP knows there is an issue that is) you can alwasy go through a google cache:

Google Cache of the page.

Edit: Oh, this works great for you delete your website by mistake.. or so I've heard, as I would never do anything like that myself.. :)

404's are not DNS failures. It *can* connect to the server, but the server says the page doesn't exist.

/gets a 404 too.

I get a 404 for darkfader.net/ds, and a blank Apache directory listing for darkfader.net.

The answer is quite simple.

There was a change in webhost. jojotjuh, who (should have) the best routing/proximity to the old webhost experienced the new settings first, and the rest of us in pace with the new DNS settings propagating to our ISP's/DNS's.

I was sent to the old webhost when I first looked at this thread, but now I am sent to the new webhost and subsequently get the 404 error/catalog index.

I know that, but he didn't say anything about a 404.

Huh? What makes you think that?

I looked at the source code of DarkFader's page, below the word "Headspin", and I don't see this supposed dot. If DF were such a pirate, would his DS page have a decoy link to Ensata, supposedly an official DS emulator for Windows, that just goes to a picture of a Russian Iris (Iris ensata)?

No dot for me either, but I'm probably not seeing the new server yet either.. :)

Eh, the dot was there sometime last night, and it did link to a site that seemed to be offering commercial NDS roms. They used an odd protocol for the links, which I'm guessing was eDonkey or something like that. Doesn't really matter now that it's down though.
