i noticed something wrong with the site today...

sure this forum has a wealth of gba/ds homebrew info...almost every single bit of which is perfectly legit and very well written!!

but the favicon SUCKS!! :D

the favicon is that icon you get when you bookmark a site. That bright red square with an intrusive black G standing there..staring you down while you surf other random websites...

enough theatrics...i got bored and propose we search for a new favicon...perhaps one made by someone in the gbadev community?

this is my effort of about 20 minutes!!

note: a favicon has to be 16x16 and .ico format. for purposes of displaying the icon in forums, however, you'll probably want to keep it as a bmp or jpeg or something.

I just disable ALL favicons so that I won't get any icon when bookmarking a site. Now it won't cause more problem! You can try doing same things if you want to. In Firefox the setting is: "browser.chrome.favicons" change it to false to disable favicons.

Yeah, that one is rough, but obviously a joke on the (previous) google favicon. I do enjoy the white and blue form favicon though. Clever, and not ugly.

I put a GBA behind the F and antialiased it to make it a little less rough:
