OffTopic > Problem reading micro-SD card.

#159491 - putzpie - Wed Jul 02, 2008 12:53 am

I have a problem reading my micro SD card with my transflash USB drive I got with my Games n music. It keeps saying there isn't a disk in it. Is there anyway to fix this?
Also: I can read my micro SD card fine in the DS.

Not a fix, but the more or less (read: exactly) same problem:

Damn ):. I guess the only way to fix it would be to get another reader? Does anybody know if SD adapters or transflash adapters are better?

USB adapter worked: ~9
SD adapter worked: still working.

So... I guess my view is a *little* bit biased. Maybe even too biased...
But honestly, I'd prefer using the USB adapter, because my TOSHIBA Satellite laptop DOES NOT have a damn SD card ejection spring! Damn! X^C

I think I'm gonna go with a SD card. It may not be able to plug into my older computer, but my older computer can't even read the USB drive anyway, so it doesn't really matter :\. My SD slot doesn't have an ejecting spring, so I don't need to worry about that.

RICS indeed. I guess I will just have to try it out on my new computer (just got it today! =)) and pray that it works.

-totally random: No longer do i have to scroll to read posts! I have a full sized monitor now! 19 inches of pure awesomeness! RICS with joy!
