Alright here's what happened, some program insists on making some weird buying site as my homepage, and everytime i change the homepage back to google, or reset to default web settings, it works temporarily until i reboot my computer, it is when i reboot the stupid site pops up as my homepage again..
any suggestions anyone??

You can disable JavaScript in your settings or use a better browser (Opera, Mozilla :-)

you can always locate & disable the program from starting by using msconfig.
just go to start(bottom left corner of your desktop), run, type 'msconfig'.
click the start-up tab and you can see all the programs that start in the background when you restart your computer.
be careful with settings in here or your dad might get mad (if it's his computer).

This could be a virus. Download the latest IE from Microsoft, it fixes a bug that a virus uses to do this sort of thing.
