I'm sure everyone wanting to place an entry in the upcoming compo will want to know the same thing...

I want to compress graphics. Anyone know of a tool that's freely available to compress graphics, or a way to do it without a specialized tool?

Thanks to anyone who can help, from all of us who want to know but don't.
