Shouldn't there be a site for source code just for ham? Well www.gbadev.org is good and all but they supply source code for every dev kit for the gba and if someone wants to use the code for ham don't they have to modifiy that code a lot to work on ham. I think their should be a site dedicated with just ham source code available to the public like GbaDev.org

Well, HAM is kinda like a shell where you never really get the real idea about what's going on in the hardware :P

Long live HAM!
But... why exactly would you need HAM specific source code? It's pretty much all the same stuff.

Well like me and others converting GCC code to ham specific code is rather hard when it comes to a newbie. Since i dont know all the ham_* and stuff it gets really complicated.

OH, you mean HAMlib stuff? I don't use that. I just use HAM.

Main reason why I hate HAM is because you get a nasty homedev startup screen.

Hi,
if thats the main reason you hate it, you really did not spend a lot of time/brains with it. As said earlier in the post, you are perfectly fine not to use HAMlib. Then, it is like a VERY comfortable devkit-advance, and free, and no intro screen. And if you really like HAMlib, but don't want the intro screen, you can register for 29$.

Now I think of it the reason I never got into it was because the instalation program crashes everytime :). Stupid of me to forget.
