Is it just me with this problem, or have others noticed this too? When I decided to refresh the dsdev.org homepage (I keep all my windows open and refresh when I want an update), instead of the regular old dsdev.org news, I get a (what they call) "legal" underage almost-porn site. Maybe something is wrong with my DNS, maybe the company hijacked DSDev.org to point to their site, I'm not sure. I thought I'd bring that up so that it could get fixed.

Hmm... just noticed the date. Please don't tell me this is some kind of sick April Fools joke.
Well, that said, time to sit back and watch the fake news come in (yay slashdot!!).

They say it's legal because they aren't selling porn/sex/etc. Rather they are selling "a work of art" and as such, there is no age limit.

I actually "saw" that happen yesterday.. so it's not an April 1st joke.
But, I don't visit dsdev.org that much, and jumped over to gbadev.org instead.. but it was wierd.
I just figured I might have typed it in wrong, and it's one of those sites that registered a domain name "close" to the real one for people that mistype it. cause it redirects the name so fast, you can't see what you may have typed by mistake.

I got it when I visited gbadev and when I clicked the forum link on the main gbadev page.

EDIT::
Unlinked in case it broke forum rules

hmm... it's fixed now (for me anyway). Everything is back to normal, and as usual, no updates on the news page.

I just got it again when I went to the forums from the link on gbadev.org. It sometimes happened to me yesterday when going to gbadev.org as well. I checked it on 2 computers to make sure it wasn't a virus/trojan/spyware program.

Ah, so it wasn't just me. I tried refreshing the forum and got the pr0n.

I got this too. It just randomly happened. Happened when I typed in the GBAdev url, and it came up. So I typed again, and it didn't. I thought someone had hacked my PC or something, so I did an ad-aware and virus scan. Rebooted, and it happened when I tried to click on the forums.
Glad to hear it's not my PC. (I'd hate for that sick stuff to just randomly pop-up). I hate sick tw*ts (like the person who's hacked GBADev) who use 'its art' as an excuse, when they're obviously just paedos.

I get it too on multiple systems. This is scary. What happens if it starts to happen with all sites. Like you go to paypal and it takes you to a fake paypal but it looks like the real paypal.
Scary.

All of this is research. You are going to see theories come and go. Things you think can't be done, will be done. But because you are here, you'll be the first to know.

It looks like it's fixed now. Though I wonder what could have caused it; it is scary if it were to happen to websites that you submit confidential information like credit cards.

it justed happened randomly yesterday and the day before. Once on DSdev, once when I clicked on forums.

I finally figured out what might be happening:
DNS poisoning.
