320x240? QVGA is so outdated. Besides, it'd probably only play movies at 320x180 which is only 4/9 of the pixels that the PSP uses.

The GPX2 is probably going to be very cheap, so don't expect any fancy stuff in it.

The only things that seem interesting to me is the multimedia co-processor, this will improve the multimedia-functionality a lot (compared to the GP32). The fact that it is running linux is also interesting for some linux geeks out there :)

Only real problem about the system is the lack of 3D hardware and i doubt it has enough power to render "decent" software 3D :/

Well it is out, but they will not have a way for non-eu customers to buy ex-VAT until next week... hope the supply holds out...

Did I miss something on the specs page? Why doesn't it list the processor clock speeds?

Dan.

They said on the gp32 forum that they were dual 200mhz, plus a dedicated scaling chip for the DIVX playback...

Actually it will play movies at resolutions up to 700something * 480. :P It has a TV Out adapter.

@Lupin: Don't know what you consider decent... It might not produce PSP like graphics but it will be on one level with the DS at least. Quake should be no problem.
