OffTopic > Did you like your GBAX.com entry?

#4072 - Lord Graga - Tue Mar 18, 2003 12:02 am

I'm sad, I didn't have enough time to make the AI when it came to an end...

What about you?

#4073 - Xvoid6f - Tue Mar 18, 2003 12:18 am

I am proud to say that hardly any bugs got into the final version :)

#4079 - fnxgames - Tue Mar 18, 2003 1:20 am

Hi to all!

Well, i posted my entry but it's not complete ;)
A few things more under development but, evey function in it
works very fine and bug free (at least what i've tested).
Hope to get a good place ;)

Bye for now!

What are you talking about?? .... anyway, are they going to release the entrys so people can try them out?

#4099 - peebrain - Tue Mar 18, 2003 11:11 pm

I heard about the compo at about 2pm and coded until I submitted at exactly 11:59pm :-P. It wasn't exactly buggy (well, a little), but the real disappointment was that the final "You beat the game" screen was pretty cheesy. I wish I coulda made a cool animation or something... oh well.

i implemented everything i planned, and everything works fine, so codewise it's pretty much ok. however, the graphics aren't very good, and they're too dark on real hardware.

There is a competition on gbaX.com where you could make a game or an emulator for the GBA and the starter of this post wanted to know if poeple liked what they submitted for that competition.

Well there were quite a few bugs in my final version and horribly crappy sound, but some of the bugs were rather funny.
Try holding to the left when selecting new game in my entry, the tragical historie of Rodion and Rosalind, when they are avaiolable for download.

I think fxngames was referring to this post:

I didn't really understand that post either.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

darkcloud u r right! :)

ok, my english is not very good but in t3tsuo's post there aren't any
reference to any entry...

if he had written something like:

"MY entry is clean and simple..." and so on that would be clearer :)

sorry for my misunderstanding!

Bye.
