If you plan on visiting the warpipe forums, be warned - the admins are so stupid, they think that homebrew is the same as piracy, and they'll ban you for talking about using a flashcart to make your own games.
LOL, can anyone say stupid?
(Sometimes stupidity is just so funny)

Can you link to an instance where this has happened or to a specific rule covering this? I see counterexample (discussion of SuperCard) and counterexample (link to pdroms.com).

I did a search for pixelproject, and it found nothing(...). I got banned for talking about making multiple save-files for my pixel-project, or the pixel-proj itself, the admin was never clear on it. Screw that crap. Maybe I should just give up on the Internet entirely - I'm sick of the crap. I'll just stay offline for a month and see what happens.

I frequent the Warp Pipe forums myself, and have a little to say on the subject.
You can talk about homebrew in moderation, but when it becomes something that could possibly be bordering on the edge of the law in some peoples' minds (eg flash cartridges), the topic will get locked. The forum rules state this, so if you do it more than a few times, a banning seems wholly acceptable.
