1. The realization that gbadev.org != romhacking.net.

I do know a ROM hacking/cheat code making site that I know of... It'll be more help than here, but you may get flamed for asking questions they think are "noobish".

What about Gaim DS? Gaim pretty much has support for all IM programs. |

As mentioned, this probably belongs on a game ROM hacking website (not gbadev.org).
My advice is to start with a full "NDSTool" dump of the game ROM and start reverse engineering. Most of the dialog is simple text (but in a compressed binary file). You must own a legal copy of the game of course. How you get a gamerom and/or run it is way off topic for this BBS
FWIW: I've done simple ROM tweeking for amusement purposes (swapping graphics)

Any translation will only work on the local game. If you connect over WiFi, the language comes from the local cartridge/DS.
There is a lot of text to translate!

I do have a copy of an original Animal Crossing Wild World.
The thing is.. i already disambled it with NdsTool but the texts arent in Txt or anything, as so, they arent in normal text...
How can i work with them ? can you help me ?
I already tranlated New Super Mario Bros to Portuguese, but the scripts are all there in normal text...

Try opening files with notepad, or a hex editor. If you don't even know how to hack games you're not going to get very far.

I already reached the Script base ehehe...

I finally translated all the NSMB to portuguese and that project is now completed xD
Now its Animal Crossing but some characters are not displayed very well, they appear in the word and that programs like squares and alikes...
Some Help would be great !

Some of it might be compressed using LZ77.

how do i decompress it ?

On the GBA or Nintendo DS, you can call a BIOS function to decompress any block of data that uses Nintendo's GBA-LZ77 compression format. On the PC, you can copy the decoder from VisualBoyAdvance's high-level-emulated BIOS into any GNU GPL covered program.
