I know there are wardriving apps, but they don't really give you enough info. What I'm looking for is something that will tell you the extact settings for a particular hotspot you need to put in the firmware so you can use apps such as beup, ect.. at hotspots (Starbucks, ect...).

not as of now, but once the opera browser comes out, you can probably use that to log into the web-based authentication

And if the ssid is generic enough, and you know what company made is, you can pretty much figure out the needed Ip's.

You can get all the IP addresses you want, but your packets won't get routed outside the building until you use Opera to agree to the TOS.

if the router has auth. like nocat or simple user/pass.. Opera will be able to access those but I doubt a straight connection would work on a wifi enabled homebrew.
