Moonlight of Infantile Paralysiser always amazes us with new things ie. Moonshell, Rein, ReinMoon etc. Now he does it agian!
▼▼▼ Drunken Coders post ▼▼▼
Converting movies straight from YouTube to DPG? Under Infantile Paralysiser newest post he has a codec that works beside FFDShow for rendering .FLV files which our the ones used on YouTube.com I'm not exactly sure all that he says in his post lost in translation... But if you install FFDShow and his .FLV Codec then open the Video Decoder Config. go down to FLV and turn from disabled to libvcodec i think it is, just not disabled, then you will be able to play them in WMP. Now you can convert them with the Moonshell DPG Encoder for use of watching YouTube videos on your NDS. Very nice Infantile Paralysiser props for this one. Goto his page if you need more info on it.

Slightly dissapointing because he doesn't mention how to actually get the FLV files themself, but nice nonetheless. The idea behind it is quite simple; install an FLV splitter so your media player can handle them, let FFDShow decode the video part, and let whatever MP3 decoder you're using decode the audio part (YouTube videos contain a 8kbps 22050Hz mono MP3). Oh, and this method works for BatchDPG too. :)
MoonLight gets double the points for the fact that he's converting the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya opening in his screenshots... I love Haruhi. The ending is even more genius though. ^^

I'm getting the same message i've had since i first tried batch DPG.
Conversion failed. Please open *FILE* in a DirectShow based media player and take not of the error message...

Well, did you try opening the AVS file in a media player such as Windows Media Player? It will most likely display an error message, and I might be able to help you if I know what the error is.

The files are easy to find on your comp. after you watch the whole show, Or once the movie is fully buffered, its in your temp internet files folder. Not sure where on FFox though. You can search your computer for '*.flv' or you can search for 'get_video' the get_video files just add the .flv extension and it should work fine. ;]

Haha. I always used various clips from Haruhi to test each new version of BatchDPG. And my MoonShell clock is based on part of the opening to Haruhi.

Looks like his site is down. Does anyone have a mirror?

But why would we want trial/demo software? The file IS ON YOUR COMP after you watch it, or buffer is complete.
Edit:your welcome SP

There is no error. The files play fine in WMP.

Are you sure you are opening the AVS file in Windows Media Player, and not the actual source file? Opening the AVS file in Windows Media Player should give you a 'Do you want the Player to play this content?' warning.

What? Of course it's on your computer.
If you see a youtube site on a blog or something, just paste the link into the green bar at the top, click sumbit and it gives you a direct download link for the FLV file, so you can use a download manager, or not have to wait for the file to buffer in it's own web browser window.
It would also allow you to do things like download throttling within a download manager and whatever.
Ignore the adverts.

Install a more recent version of AviSynth. You need at least v2.56.

I installed ffdshow, but how do I access the video config? All I can access is the "ffdshow Properties" no links or anything to go from there.
