I think someone should create a homebrew app that lets you transfer .nds files via ds download play. The user selects the .nds file, and it transmits it through DS download play. Is anyone looking into making this?

The WiFi lib currently doesn't support DS -> DS transferring of files. If it did, I'm sure we'd have already seen this. I wants it!

No, it still would need to be flashed. That's the WifiMe exploit you're thinking of.
