I noticed this nice little program in the homebrew database.
It downloads from a URL basicaly :)

To test it out you can put this in the cfg file:

http://www.darkflame.co.uk/ddsweb.html

Once downloaded, you can open that page in DSOrganiser by hitting Y in file manager.
(and also edit the cfg file in that too, when you want to download something else).

Also, I cant help but call this program "Slurper" from now on.

if this was developed to also have a basic html viewer, it could be slowly updated.. We'd have at least a low functioning non-crashing web browser if it uses FAT (retaqw always quits with the ram limit)

sorry O_o
I should starting looking on the development forum again.

Personaly, I see this as more of a downloader for now, its hardly a browser.
All sorts of functions can be added to improve downloading....but it would be nice to team-up with DSOrganiser for the html reading part. (BASIC html reading, of course).

I tested at least with large text files, pictures and html and it all works great most of the time. (and the other times I think it was my severs fault)

Personaly, I think we need
This + DSOrganisers reader, then we start makeing DS Suitable websites :)

(that link to stuff like ebooks, music, dpg files, ect)

O my God! I really appreciate your work on DSLurper, but you really wasted 4 hours of my life too.

I tried to run my development nds transferred using DSlurper, and I ended up with 2 white screens. So I visit all webpages that are listed on Google, and asked around at #dsdev, but still no answer. Tested every line in my code and yet, I got 2 white screens. Finally I tried to copy it manually to my Supercard and guess what? It worked. -_-
I'm veryy happy now.

Anyway, great job! Now you need to fix the transfernoise.

[edit] - this is written to the developer of dslurper, not for the original poster.
