Since we've already hacked the Wifi, I assumed we've cracked the wireless LAN too. But I've NEVER, EVER seen it being used except for WifiMe. So has it not been cracked? Just looking for clarification here.
Because if it has, where's the multiplayer support for our emulators :P Yeah I know, it takes time...

Ad-Hoc mode (DS-to-DS communication) for DSWiFi has not been done yet. That's why it's not used.
Edit: Forgot to add that in homebrew WiFi games you can both connect to a router and connect DS-router-DS in the same room. But as of now DS-DS communication is not possible.

Does anyone sell an affordable battery-powered or 12 V DC-powered 802.11b access point, even one without an uplink? Or should multiplayer DS homebrew on a car trip have to wait?

You could make a portable access point using a laptop and a USB Wi-fi stick that supports SoftAP mode. Just a thought.

Is there a homebrew game you'd like to multiplay in the car?

You can find G Wireless routers for like $40 or maybe even less and you can grab a special car adapter to plug in things that would normaly require a wall outlet for like $30 if you look arround. So...about $70 to do somethign liek that..if you travel alot and love some of the homebrew..it's not so bad I guess :X

Make a tube that drains the pee out of the car. Go to the car wash for a shower.
Or you could just live next to Walmart for bathrooms adn wait for rain to shower in.
