I don't think the DS is powerfull enough to calculate routes fast enough to be usefull. And we should get maps (with streets and such, not pics) and I don't believe we homebrewers are able to get them for free. |

I pulled down the maps from my father's TomTom a while ago. Reading them should be workable. But you still need some way to attach a GPS device to the DS. If someone (finally!) built a Bluetooth module, this wouldn't be a problem at all. |
