DS Misc > Yay, Zombies!

#102742 - SuperJoe - Sat Sep 16, 2006 4:32 pm

Hey there! My first post here, I've started on a small project to get me started on ds homebrew, a small zombies mashing game, right now its just an early alpha, there's zombies that follow you and you have full movement capabilities, move with the pad - jump with A.

Here's a link to this early version:

I plan to expand on it greatly, let me know if you have any suggestions for gameplay.

Lol
Is he on a skateboard? ^^

Haha yeah :) I'm planning to have him kick them mid air or bash them with his skate, I also had the thought of zombiecopters! (Helicopters that are er.. zombies.) and shooting them down with a rocket launcher aimed using the stylus.

Zombies rule!! Looks like a good start, I wish you luck.

You might have seen it already but if not check out the pirate baby video for some zombie bashing inspiration ;)

A new version out! alpha 0.2, I've still got things to work out such as the zombies death animation and stuff, but you can finally kill them now!

Controls:

X - Jump
Y while jumping - Kick
Pad Left and Right - Skate
R - Revive all zombies!

Feel free to mirror it everyone, and thanks for hosting it Sektor!
I plan to make a site for it once its more advanced than a simple alpha test,
until then there won't be any official mirror or anything so anyone who wants to host it is encouraged to.
