MoonShell still plays while the DS is closed. However, if you try to jog with the DS in your pocket, and you are using a CF or SD adapter, the adapter may become dislodged and interrupt the music.

Yeah, moonshell is the only one I can think of that has that feature. Pretty neat.
I like to load up my fav podcast on my DS, set the volume high, and slip it under my pillow while I lay in bed at night.

DSOrganize also plays music while closed, but it forces you to listen through the headphone jack for some reason :)
(It's both a cool feature and completely pointless, since plugging in headphones shuts off the speakers anyway. It's nice that software has control over that, though).
That would be great in combination with a giant stable local wireless network so you could stream internet radio via your DS.

You can use Sylphamp to stream music from Winamp, if you can get it to work.

That's all good.. but when you are in bed.. your are supposed to be going to sleep! :P I guess it has a built in shutoff though.. when you fall asleep, after x amount of hours the battery will die.

I posted a guide on setting up a rebuffering/encoding local server to stream music on your DS. I've yet to try it via some sort of outside wireless hotspot but this'll get you started.

I often use music to get to sleep. Also, when you're just sleeping, there's usually no reason you can't plug it into an AC outlet (unless you're sleeping in a car on the go or something).

haha yeah. the only problem with that is the discomfort of the earphones while asleep but it does help =)
