Hey, just wondering how feasible a Lemmings-type game for the DS would be. I think it would be very well suited to the dual-screen touch functionality. Any thoughts?

i'd help with something like this! i'm an animator/illustrator likes. it's be cool to use little marios (a la march of the minis) and other nintendo characters and theme levels around games. go on :)

is there an open source ported version of lemmings available?
I'd love to see this happen more than any other port! 2 player lemmings via wifi would be superb... anyone played it on the amiga using 2 mice?

Pingus was just as great as lemmings imo. Though, a bit short.

It is really quite different in my opinion. You don't have a limited number of 'jobs' which you can give to the marios, and you can control the individual direction of each mario, and make them jump or stop at any time. There are similarities, I agree, but I wouldn't say it's practically lemmings.

they dont have jobs at all its move and jump and a few obsicles, its nothjing like lemmings
