Are you saying you want to play DS Download Play games over the internet? Something like dstunnel?

Erm, I think he wants Avatars or something for DS Download Play games. Or something...

dstunnel hasn't been released and I wouldn't expect it this year. It's an app for PC, no need to integrate with dswifi or run any code on your DS but it will only work with ralink chipset cards and may not even be feasible over the net, if games can't tolerate the extra latency.

The program has to support each distinct wireless chipset, and the chipset itself needs to have a mode that does not mangle^W modify incoming and outgoing packets. This leaves either Ralink cards on PC or implementing it into, say, some Linux based access point.

How about we get WiFi adhoc mode for homebrew working first?

If he just wants to be able to play DS vs. PC, that's easy enough, right? You could do like PRBOOM/DSDoom.

sgstair has looked into DSWifi supporting adhoc but he wants to wait until the Wii is released..

Last I heard *read his blog* Sgstair is planning to completely recode the 802.11 layer to deal with greater hardware support and possible adhoc

the future will tell
