It shouldn't matter, especially if you use FlashMe Stealth like I do.

Link (once again) taken from the other topic.
Yes, you'd have to short SL1 again to remove FlashMe, so i'd definitely recommend using FlashMe Stealth.
'cause if you mess up during flashing noflashme.nds, you're pretty much screwed, unless you switch firmware chips with another DS Lite, to recover it.

If i remember correctly, switching between the normal FlashMe and the Stealth one doesn't require shorting SL1, as long as they're the same version.

dont use noflashme on a ds lite, as far as i know it makes it MORE obvious

there are pictochat glitches ect

Yeah i have heard noflashme does not work with DSLites. Use the Stealth version (Tried and tested with units sent back to Nintendo) and no one will notice.

You should get your DS back all fixed up and still flashed ;)

Is this true? O_O

Okay, i just put flashme.nds and flashme_stealth.nds on my SC to make sure i'm not lying, heh.

And yeah, it worked fine and i didn't have to short SL1 again.

So you didn't have to short it? hmm thats weird

When I went from flashme 7 to FWNitro and back to FlashMe 7, I had to short each time

You don't need to bridge SL1 when switching from one (recent) version of FlashMe to another. You do need to bridge SL1 when switching among FWNITRO, FlashMe, and stock firmware, or when upgrading from older versions of FlashMe.
