What kind of error do you get?
What are the AP's settings?
Using WEP or WPA?
64-bit or 128-bit key?

Hmmmmmm, Cannot Connect to AP (Even if it can see it) is Nintendo's way of saying "We don't like your router much..."
Try switching off security, encryption, WEP and whatever else security related...
Seeing it is a plus...
You might be able to connect if you turn of all the security stuff...

Unless you're comfortable with DSLinux, no...
If using Linux is not a problem then you can using Retawq or Lynx under DSLinux...
Opera DS works okay as long as you switch image-loading off :-)

I think DS2Key can be used for this...
Check sgstair's page...
You could also just use the Nintendo Wi-Fi config in an actual game...

Erm...a little more info would be useful. What does NDSMail say? As long as you have the correct settings in the 1st firmware wifi setting area (There are 3) you should be fine...

Hmmmmm, but you say the MP game worked fine?
Odd...
It may be that the version of sgstair's Wifi library used in NDS mail is not compatible with your router, but it's hard to say for sure...

#113456 - OOPMan - Wed Dec 27, 2006 10:51 pm
If a program was compiled with an older version of the Wifi library it could have compatibility issues with the router.
One second, though. Did Tetris DS also drop the connection?
Also, please don't mention "backups" here...

So Tetris DS can no longer connect via WiFi. Have you tried testing the WiFI settings in the N-WiFi config screen?
My router basically forgets the stuff that makes the NDS work every time it's reset...

I'm not sure myself. It sounds like a router issues and those can be hard to fix. The DS is rather finicky about which routers it works with and which it doesn't...

i think its a router question myself but when i buy the usb thingie from nintendo does this solve the problem you think?
#113532 - OOPMan - Thu Dec 28, 2006 4:46 pm
Well, the USB dongle works fine for commercial games, but can be a bit more difficult to configure for homebrew. There is a thread in this forum regarding the use of the USB dongle with homebrew, just do a bit of searching...

I'm not experienced in these things, but I fixed the problem with my router randomly disconnecting by setting the preamable length to short in my router's settings.

Does it work with a real DS card? The backup procedure might be breaking things.

The browser doesn't work? You probably need to check your AP then. Make sure it's not using WPA, try changing channels, etc.
