DS Misc > Tidy up the stickys?

#125571 - Darkflame - Sat Apr 14, 2007 7:19 pm

Just an idea for any Mod's, do we really need so many stickys at the top?

Surely only the most current version for Moonshell is needed?

I destickied the old versions. But a lot of the sticky topics resulted from "If that project gets a sticky, then why doesn't this project have a sticky?

I think it would be nice to have yet another DS forum for well-known active homebrew updates. (moonshell, DSO, LMP-ng... QuakeDS?)

These would be for updates, bugs and feedback only. Development stuff can stay in the dev forum. (e.g. the difference between the Quake, yeah thread and the QuakeDS pr1 thread.)

Or better yet make it at a forum.dsdev.org address... have you seen the monumental amount of posts compared to those of the gba related forums, also this means there could be DS specific programming forums (like the C++ one) as well.

You mean forum.dev-scene.com?

Well obviously dev-scene is a different site, but yes its like what I had in mind, but seeing as dsdev.org is already a site, I'm just saying make the switch before gba homebrew dies entirely and all people come for is DS related... but do what you will, its not a huge problem and its not my site.

I just noticed the 'ds homebrew announcements' forum... That's a good start!
