DS Misc > Convert dpg to mpg ?

Heya,

I just got a question which most of you guys will perhaps not understand:

Is there a way (Program or Script ) to convert from DPG files back to a more common video format like mpg ?

I know dpg is a mpeg conatainer, has a header attached to it and that stuff.

So. Anyone that could point me in the right direction ?

since it'll convert dpg to mpg, I would think it should be able to do it the other way

nope... I tried it... didn't work.

I got videos converted using batchdpg aswell as some converted using the official tool

Using dpgmux you can split the .dpg movie into a .m1v MPEG 1 Video and .mp2 MPEG coded Audio Track. These two files can now be merged into a .mpg using ffmpeg.

hmm.. I'm quite a ffmpeg nooob, any program that coud do the merging step ? (Or at least a simple bat based prog ?)
