DS Misc > Skipping slot-1 autoboot in FlashMe?

#151679 - HyperHacker - Mon Mar 03, 2008 4:52 am

Does FlashMe not have some button combination that skips the "auto-boot" flag in slot-1 cards and forces it to go to the firmware menu? Or was there a hack that does this? I'm sure I heard this was possible but I don't see any information about it.

I remember olimar or somoneelse saying that he did it by hacking the firmware, but I may be wrong.

try to hold Select....

Holding Select skips FlashMe's SLOT-2 booting. Holding Start forces the firmware menu to show up if the SLOT-1 card's autoboot flag isn't set.

DS Lite, FlashMe v7, insert R4 card, hold buttons, power on DS
Result (Select): It goes straight to the R4 menu.
Result (Start): It goes straight to the R4 menu.
Result (Select+Start): It goes straight to the R4 menu.
