No matter if I set it to images, text, or text expanded I always get pages like the this [Images not permitted - Click here to view it] (bad picture if need be I can retake with an actual camera) Which shows random characters and A B X Y Start Select buttons, which I didn't even knew existed so... What's going on? I DLDI patched it, I'm using SuperCard SD with SuperKey, I'm using the .sc.nds and the .nds (both are the same result)... !?

Whatever you're seeing is not ASCII. If this is an actual web page you can see in a browser, then either the downloaded files are getting corrupted (bad sectors on flash card, possibly bad connection) or it's in some encoding DSO doesn't understand.

well I downgrading to the old one but now I get the alt text instead of the image! That's on my card, I haven't had a chance to try to load google again, but local should work right? It works fine on my computer so it's not the HTML... grrr, but once it's up it will be awesome lol

Well, overall, DSO's webbrowser for the most part is poor quality. I've never gotten the downloads to work right or anything, it always corrupts the files =\
Btw, I think you can only get the images with an exspansion pak. I've only once gotten the images to load on the page with the older version.

It only loads images if their dimensions are specified inline, which is rare.

I know every so often that on mobile myspace that the myspace logo will render, but thats one of the few sites I know, and it was like once every 10 to 20 times going to the site. (I don't have an exspansion pak, so I don't know if that would even help or not)

inline, which is the HTML code right?
<img src="blah.jpg"> ??? Just did a quick google search that gave the same result

It would have to have width and height attributes. <img src="cheese.jpg" width="42" height="69" />

even with those it doesn't work, grr, lol is there any other apps besides DSLinux that can browse with pics? Might just have to get the Supercard DS One then opera web browser hack with it.
#158601 - dantheman - Sat Jun 14, 2008 5:56 am
Bunjalloo has image support, but I believe you have to click on the image placeholder before it will show up.
The SCDS won't help you run the Opera DS cartridge unless you use it to launch the Opera RAM program.

Supercard DS one FAQ - http://eng.supercard.cn/manual/dsone/faq.html
first question lol, but I don't feel like taking the DS card with me everywhere, that's why I got the SupercardSD also to run linux lol
#158677 - sonny_jim - Mon Jun 16, 2008 2:08 pm
Why don't you just get a copy of Opera DS? You can use the Opera Expansion with DSLinux quite happily
#158717 - 11X_daemon_X11 - Mon Jun 16, 2008 8:16 pm
I don't think hat the opera browser is even in stores anymore, though... I wanted to get one for the exspansion pak (to use DS linux without any problems), but can't ever find one... lol

You misunderstand. The Opera browser hack deals with roms, which we do not discuss here at GBAdev. My post was a rather lame attempt at conveying this fact subtly, as the Opera RAM program will let you use a slot-2 Supercard as RAM but only when used with an official Opera DS slot-1 cartridge.
