DS Misc > project hosting

#158424 - elhobbs - Wed Jun 11, 2008 5:13 am

I have been thinking about releasing the DS project that I have been working on. I was thinking about using google code. It is not an original project it is a port of a project that was releassed under GNU GPL version 2. Am I going to have an issue with licenses? I am not that familiar with the legal issues surrounding licenses. Is google code a viable hosting site for DS homebrew? Are there any other viable options for hosting DS homebrew?

Ask the guys at drunken coders for hosting. :^)
Good luck

As long as you adhere to the license, you should be fine. ndshb.com is also available.

Do they actually accept new petitions for hosting? I am looking for a good hosting for my projects. One of them can upload itself if you connect the game to WFC, but if I have no place to put the files I can't do anything. :(

Just ask, they will tell you! Make sure you describe (keep it short) your project and what "features" you need. :^)
