#161250 - blue_fire - Thu Jul 31, 2008 8:51 am

ok so i downloaded and installed the drivers ect... but when i try using the homebrew web browser it doesnt work and when trying to play a ds game like metroid it cannot find the ip address also on the wireless network connect status thing that comes up it says
Quote:
you might not be able to access the internet or some network resources. this problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address to the computer

i clicked repair and didnt work and it said
Quote:
if clicking repair does not restor the connectivity, the problem might be with the network, not with this computer. contact the person who manages your network

so i did something wrong obviously, any1 know how to fix this or wut i did wrong?

I'm not experienced with the Nintendo USB Wi-Fi Adapter, as my router works fine with my DS and Wii, but I believe it could be a problem with your OS. On that note, what OS are you using?

What step in the installation instructions are you at? Sounds like you might have skipped the ICS setup. Click Start->Connect To->Show All Connections, then right-click the adapter for your Internet. Click properties, then Advanced. Click, "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection", then select the wireless adapter for the dongle in the drop-down box - if there is a drop-down box. Click OK, then ICS will be setup.
